In a rare New York appearance, superstar Pakistani singer Sanam Marvi comes to BAM for one night only, presenting an evening of South Asian folk and devotional music at its most intensely sublime. Marvi’s interpretations - she sings in Urdu, Sindhi, Punjabi, and Saraiki - transcend the ordinary, drawing listeners into the message of South Asian Sufi saints.
